So two nights ago a boy who was 14 got hit by a truck in my city. I don't live in a huge city or anything, it's probably medium. But anyways, all together there is a lot of high school students here, but there's like this network that seems to make it so everyone knows everyone, in some sense anyways. So for the past two days this boy has been in a coma and everyone has been making Facebook statuses saying their get wells, but just a couple of hours ago he passed away and everyone knows already, even my grandma who lives 8 hours away texted my sister asking her about it. Now some kids in big cites might be used to this, kids dying due to accident, bullying, suicide; but here, where you can't not know the gossip of the town, its just tough to figure out that a young adorable  boy had to die because of an accident. And to think 'what if I knew him?' or 'how do the people feel that did know him?' it brought a tear to my eye. In this town I don't ever recently recall something like this happening, it's just really sad.

So I guess my point is that things like this do happen, people that don't deserve to die, die. And I already knew this, but I guess I just got a reality check that reminded me that this is the real world, and people do die, so I'm going to live everyday to the fullest, because if anything ever does happen to me, I don't want to regret anything.
